Simply put it is an evening of fun, connection, empowerment, and entertainment and tasty drinks that do not contain alcohol.
Ticket prices are $25/ticket. Ticket prices for the event are purposely set lower than other similar events as we have a strong desire to create spaces for allyship, meaning that we want consumers and community members at large to be able to attend side by side and thus we want everyone to find the event to be financially accessible to them. It is important to us that people we serve have the opportunity to attend the event. Therefore, ticket prices are substantially lower than other similar mental health fundraiser events in the area. Tickets available at the door!!! Online ticketing has closed.

We encourage you to wear lime green in recognition of Mental Health Awareness. There will be a prize for the limiest outfit so feel free to get into the spirit as much as you'd like! Don't have any lime green? No worries, we will also have lime green Mocktail Bash commemorative t-shirts for sale at the event! Beyond that, wear something that makes you feel like yourself!
Due to popularity of the event we outgrew the event space. We are excited to host this year's event at the beautiful, historic South Greenville Grange.
Parking is free. You may park anywhere on the gravel or the grass in the lot South Greenville Grange. Feel free to pull around to the back side of the building if the front lot is full.
No! We had quite a few people come on their own last year and we crafted opportunities for connection to each person's individual level of comfort. The evening will be empowering and fun whether you're on your own or you arrived with others!
Cash, Venmo, & PayPal will be accepted the night of the event.
Our food is catered by The Farmacy Restorative Eatery which is an allergen-free shop. Vegan and gluten-free options will be in abundance. Please reach out if you have specific needs beyond that. In addition all of the Mocktails are gluten-free & vegan.
We encourage you to visit the FAQ Section of Forward Beverage Company's website which has very thorough information about the beverages we will be serving at the Mocktail Bash https://www.forwardbev.com/about-1
Bottled water & limited soda/seltzer selections will be available as well as a non-alcoholic beer option from Untitled Art Brewing from Waunakee, WI.
The event is best suited for adults and youth age 16+ due to the potential for sensitive content to be discussed.
The South Greenville Grange is a unique historical building and does not have an elevator. The event is on the second floor and requires steps to get to the second level. Please reach out to marybeth@mhawisconsin.org or michael@mhawisconsin.org if you have mobility issues so we can work with you to meet your needs.
Save the Uplfit WI Warmline!!!
Effective April 8, Mental Health America of Wisconsin (MHA) has been forced to shut down its Statewide Peer-Run Warmline due to recent federal budget cuts from the U.S. Health and Human Services Department. Despite demonstrating a clear statewide impact, the Warmline contract was terminated without notice due to a sudden surge in mass federal funding cuts nationwide. The Warmline was Wisconsin’s only Statewide peer-run mental health line, providing free and confidential support to more than 24,000 individuals experiencing emotional distress in 2024. Staffed entirely by Certified Peer Specialists—individuals with lived experience of mental health and substance use challenges—the Warmline served thousands of Wisconsinites annually, particularly those who didn’t feel safe or supported by traditional crisis systems.
Unlike 988 or emergency services, the Warmline offered a safe, non-clinical alternative for individuals to discuss their concerns, de-escalate, and receive referrals to community-based resources—without the risk of involuntary intervention or law enforcement involvement. In many cases, it prevented mental health issues from escalating into crises, reducing strain on emergency departments and public safety systems.
The original intention was to use all funds raised from the event to support the UpliftWI Warmline operations. In light of this abrupt and detrimental departure of this much-needed service, we are now seeking to Save the Uplift WI Warmline! All proceeds will go first to reimburse the Uplift Warmline Operations from the time it ran without reimbursement (March 24-April 8 as the contract was terminated with no notice March 24th) and then additional proceeds will go toward reestablishing the Uplift WI Warmline and other peer services.
Each ticket can provide one hour of peer services! Please consider attending, sponsoring, or making a donation. For more details please email marybeth@mhawisconsin.org .
Mental Health America of Wisconsin is dedicated to helping all community members achieve wellness by living mentally healthier lives. A key part of
this is offering opportunities for connection & support. Locally, we do this by offering opportunities for in-person connection including:
In addition, MHA-WI runs Prevent Suicide Wisconsin which offers support
to our local Prevent Suicide Fox Cities chapter & hosts the annual Prevent Suicide Conference, provides workplace wellness support through a pilot program, MHA Connect, and is sponsored a three-day training in March to train facilitators for Alt2Su a suicide prevention support group. We are proud members of the NEW Mental Health Connection and enjoy the opportunity to collaborate with other local organizations supporting mental health & recovery. We also offer statewide options that
our local community members access including a variety of virtual counseling services, virtual support groups, & veteran peer support services
& respite. For more information on our offerings we encourage you to look
at our website www.mhawisconsin.org.
